As the core technology of the railway transport organization, passenger train operating schedule essentially affects the passenger transportation quality and the competitiveness of railway in Passenger transport market so, the Stop schedule plan, as an important part of passenger train operating schedule, ifitismade scientifically and reasonably is meaningful to organize the passenger transportation efficiently.Based on the existing research findings at home and abroad, this paper finishes expounding the definition and main elements of stop schedule plan, summarizing the main influencing factors、setting principles and the existing mode of stop schedule plan. This paper also analyzes the interacting influence and constraint between the Stop schedule plan and the train diagram, advances the concept of coordinative optimizing for the top schedule plan and the train diagram, and then, the classification of passenger train is studied and the method to calculate the maximum stops for different passenger train is found,In the research of coordinative optimization for stop schedule plan and train diagram, according to the study of the interactions among stop schedule plan, carrying capacity and structure of train diagram, the key constraints coordinative optimization for stop schedule plan and train diagram are sought out, they are:Carrying capacity, time equilibrium of the station plan and stopping equilibrium of the train, and the accessibility of the stop schedule plan, and then, the optimization methods between the key constraints and coordinative optimization for stop schedule plan and train diagram are studied respectively.On the basis of all the theory system study above, an optimization model about the coordinated optimization of train diagram and stop schedule plan which is based on the stopping rate of the train is established and a heuristic random search algorithm is designed to the solve the model accordingly. The aims of the model are time equilibrium of the station and stopping equilibrium of the train. Finally, a case is introduced to verify the model and algorithm, and the satisfactory result demonstrates the correctness and the effectiveness of the model and algorithm.
