Based on aproposed project of a cable-stayed curved bridge with laterally inclined pylons, this thesis presents a design program for its complex structure and a finite element model of the full bridge by software MIDAS/Civil 2012, determines the dimension of girder, pylon and cable, dissects on the static performance of the bridge structure respectively in response to dead load, crowd load, combination of the most unfavorable load, makes contrast among different displacements and stresses of the bridge structure under actions of different loads, and accordingly concludes the effects of static loads on the special structure and the features showed under stress.By means of step-by-step calculation of the bridge in completed state, further analyses are made to study the reasonable state of the completed cable-stayed bridge, and a model of the full bridge is established. By "Unknown Load Coefficient" in Midas software, initial tensionof the cable under specific conditions isfigured out;by "Optimization of Cable Force" in Midas software, the reasonable state of the completed bridge gets tested, the cable force is optimized and thereby the initial tensile stress is finalized.On the basis of the model, analyses are made on the modes and the periods of bridge vibration to probe into the features of the completed bridge in natural vibration. Accordingly, by the analytical method of response spectrum, the thesis works out the seismic response of this bridge.This thesis conducts analyses on the static performance, dynamic performance of the cable-stayed curved bridge with laterally inclined pylons, and learns the features of this type of bridges showed under stress, which is of significanceto serve as a reference for the design and study of the sametype of bridges.
