No back-stays & inclined pylon cable-stayed bridge is a new cable-stayed bridge style. It is the specialty of this style bridge that substituting the deadweight of inclined pylon for the back stays force to counteract the girder deadweight of main-span. Presently, this type bridges are few. More systematic research for some crucialness problems that will be met in its design, will be helpful for the develop of the bridge type.In this paper, some studies on the static performance and the determining of reasonable completed bridge state of no back-stays & inclined pylon cable-stayed bridge is carried out based on the Hongshan Bridge, Changsha, Hunan Province, China.(1) After the comparison among several bridge types of cable-stayed bridge and the discussion of the influences to the bridge static characteristics caused by the parameters such as the length of assistive-span and no-cable area of girder, rigidity of girder and tower, the area of cable.(2) This paper improved the assumed load method which has been applied in cable-stayed bridge with minimum energy method to adjust bending moment. It is a new and easy used method to determine the assumed load using uniform load, and the feat cable-stayed bridge type to be applied has been studied.(3) Giving a compositive method which uses assumed load method and stress balanced method determine the reasonable completed bridge states of no back-stays & inclined pylon cable-stayed Bridge. The reasonable completed bridge state of Hongshan Bridge has been got that using this method.The conclusions of this paper offer reference for the design of no back-stays & inclined pylon cable-stayed bridge. |
