In the study design of weapons and test of weapon performance, the need for multiple parameters of weapon test, and in the testing of these parameters at the same time, the need to test equipment for all test parameters of synchronous trigger, trigger signal synchronization in order to obtain the required, it is time to test the muzzle flame, there are a lot of acquiring the muzzle flash way, most of the use of photoelectric detector for detecting a single spectrum, and discrimination in obtain muzzle flame after whether the method is accurate and the flame signals, most of the flame signal A/D conversion, and then by setting threshold value judgment. This kind of method is now widely used, the design is relatively easy, but for the real-time performance of the system is difficult to meet the requirements of.The research object of this paper is to study the characteristics of muzzle flame,the flame center.analysis the physical characteristics of the flame radiation in the combustion of the spectral energy characteristics and flame target,put forward to study the combustion flame flicker frequency characteristic as the basis to determine whether the required flame. The detection test collection flame signal design.obtains the time domain signal analysis used flame primitive, in converting the time domain signal into frequency domain signal, two kinds of methods presented by this paper (three algorithms) were calculated, respectively, through real- time data compression to obtain the calculation of feature point extraction, and characteristics of the flame frequency signal waveform is obtained by combining the technology of digital image processing method of calculation. Respectively in two ways to calculate and analyze the results.The paper improve the flame signal detection accuracy and improving the detection based on real-time, flame flicker frequency is analyzed, tested by feature extraction flame flicker frequency values, to extract features of different flame flicker frequency are simulated and tested, the test results show that, the proposed algorithm can completely in the characteristics of flashing point the frequency of the flame burning.
