Research On Exploitation And Utilization Of Small City Underground Space

This paper,deeply researching the development of underground underground space at home and abroad and reviewing the historical process of it,thoroughly studies the exploitation of underground space in smaller cities,with reference to the successful experience of some domestic cities,like Changli County,Heibe Province,who has demonstrated its success by making relevant plans and science instructions.This paper, based on thoroughly investigations into Changli County and large quantity files related to construction, planning, statistics, gardening and taxation, analyzes the present condition and sums up the main problems of exploiting underground space in the region. it is then concluded the whole area of underground space that can be reasonably exploited, after carefully evaluating this region’s basic elements, such as landforms, geology, earthquake fault zone or engineering hydro geology. In the next step, there are two methods, analogy and integration, to make rational predictions on the local demand of underground space. Combining closely with the local real circumstances, planning ideas on the strategy of exploiting underground space, general layout, underground traffic facilities, public service facilities, municipal elections and storage facilities should be raised. Also more specific researches and more operational measures should be taken. Hoping that through this research, rational planning ideas for the similar cities can be provided.
