China has a large population and vast territory, so stream of people and logistics demand is very huge, the traffic problem has become the bottleneck of economic development. In recent years, with the expansion of the scale of high-speed railway passenger dedicated line and the initial formation of the network, the tension that has long plagued people ride hard with great ease, people travel to have more choice. At the same time, with the development of high-speed railway is put into operation, the existing railway freight transportation capacity has been further released, delivery difficult question has also been initially solved. Especially in the great western development background, high-speed railway has become economic development artery, injecting new impetus for the rapid development of China’s economy.The extensive development in karst region of Southwest China, Guizhou, Guangxi, Yunnan and other provinces in karst area is large, The high-speed railway through these provinces area has many security hidden troubles, such as karst collapse, karst cave collapse, how to take reasonable investigation, evaluation and treatment measures to ensure high speed railway in Karst area of operation safety has become the focus of recent research.This paper takes GuiYang North Railway Station for practical engineering model, summarizing in karst roadbed exploration commonly used in engineering and technical means of induction, including engineering geological survey, remote sensing interpretation, engineering drilling and engineering geophysical exploration; Then the establishment of evaluation system uses hydrogeological conditions, covering layer of roof features and karst development degree as the evaluation factors and based on AHP. The stability evaluation of Karst subgrade of GuiYang North Railway should combine with the actual engineering situation of GuiYang North Railway Station; Finally, according to the karst hazard different management techniques, adopting reasonable measures for the governance of the GuiYang North Railway Station karst roadbed, to achieve security and stability requirements.
