Research On The Decoration Art Of Architecture Of Ancient Courtyards In LangZhong

LangZhong, which Located in northeastern Sichuan, is the only completely preserved ancient city in province. The traditional architectures Langzhong preserves is precious monuments and historical and cultural heritage, It’s Building Decoration not only reflects the architectural style of ancient courtyard, but also reflects regional characteristics and cultural connotations of LangZhong’s courtyard building, At the same time, it witnessed the historical development of LangZhong, so that the Building Decoration contains a high historical value and research value. This paper mainly puts LangZhong’s medium-sized and well-preserved architectural courtyard as the research object, and do some studys on the architectural characteristics of ancient courtyards under the LangZhong’s diverse cultural background.Firstly, this paper trys to organize the study route through the related concepts’clear definition, and Carding the formation and development of the building decoration of LangZhong’s ancient courtyard, and starting from it’s natural and geographical environment, historical and cultural background, and combining with the distribution of the site of the ancient city and ancient courtyard, basing on the Features and space forms of ancient courtyard to do some research on the element of construction-Building Decoration. And do some analyses on the components of the building decoration, so as the crafts, theme, the contents and forms of the building decorationIn summary, this paper takes LangZhong’s large and medium-sized well-preserved ancient courtyard and architectural decoration as the research project. Analysis and summarized the artistic characteristics of its architectural decoration from various fields, such as the natural geography, history, cultural background, spatial distribution, technology, religion, rituals, customs, cultural connotation and so on. Exploring The Geographical features of the building decoration of Langzhong,enjoying the Folk custom and the essence of culture, and come up with some advices on the Inheritance of the decorationof ancient building. At the same time, it is the carrier of folk activities in north Sichuan, not only to provide reference for the protection and development of the ancient city, but also provide the specific information to profoundly understand of the natural environment, history, folk culture and traditional architecture. Through the research for this paper and own personal practical investigation, the author learns the research methods of traditional architecture, knows more about the connotation of ancient buildings, and enriches the awareness on Bayu style building. Meanwhile, the author hopes this research can digs out the geographical features and connotation of the decoration that Langzhong ancient courtyard contained and provides some help in the study of ancient architecture. It will be meaningful to perfect the research of the folk custom of Langzhong. As well, it has practical significance for the protection and inheritance of ancient buildings in Langzhong.
