Drilling and blasting and tunneling methods are commonly used in Highway tunnel excavation. But to mountain tunnel, drill blasting excavation method is mainly used with the machine pneumatic rock drill with homemade bench and jumbo.The use of the former machine has benefit of low cost but low efficiency, bad working environment and more workers labor power compared with the latter machine which has benefit of high efficiency, better construction quality, high degree of automation, lower workers labor intensity and more safe except its high cost.With the promotion of the green construction, it is the inevitable trend to use high intelligence of computer artificial drill jumbo instead of artificial excavation of the pneumatic drill and wet spray technology applied to tunnel primary support. The paper has a depth research combing with the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao bridge connected Nan Wan tunnel with actual construction based on intelligent computer rock excavation and primary support construction method of wet blasting.Firstly,the paper reviewed the research status of computer drilling jumbo and its development in home and abroad, especially the latest intelligent computer-wide rock drill trolley.Then the article introduces the intelligent computer rock excavation and primary support construction method of wet-spray--new Austrian tunneling method principles and the principle of controlled blasting and research regional climate, geology, social and other conditions to analyses their impact on the selection of tunnel construction methods. The article discuses the use of computerized rock drill trolley tunnel construction of different methods. For example, applying computer trolley to full-face long method, micro-step, long-step, both engines operating at the same time. The paper focused on blasting excavation of several key processes: design, drilling and drilling and blasting ventilation, dust, explosive, blasting, mucking, etc, then discusses the principle and construction technology of the early wet-spray support. The different construction methods were compared in each process, and draws some conclusions. During tunnel blasting and initial support,the paper simulates the stability of rock surrounding and discusses actual measurement. Theory and practice of excavation can attest that the use of the construction methods, safe and reasonable, have very big advantage, which can reference to similar practice in the future. What’s more, with the methods, tunnel excavation of construction organization is optimized from two aspects: optimization processes and shorten the duration. Finally, comprehensive benefit evaluation is conducted between the tunneling methods described in this paper and construction method of traditional artificial, including time limit for a project, quality of construction, environment of construction, intensity of labor, cost etc.All analysis results showed that it is an advanced method of tunnel construction, which have considerable adaptability, special in the construction of length or specialist mountain tunnel with the advantages of high quality of construction, driving fast and environmental. It has the trend to use the methods in tunnel construction in the future.
