Based on the road and accident information of typical long downhill,thinking over the analysis and summary for long downhill road accident characteristics and thinking about the cause of the accident,on the basis of the principle of vehicle brake failure,comparing several types of brake drum temperature rise model at present,comparing different types of indicators selected by the model and the differences in suitable conditions,selecting the most appropriate model to forecast the long downhill road accident black point,combining with research status all over the world for the safety of brake drum temperature,choosing the well temperature referring to our country actual vehicle brake drum failure critical,choosing the model to forecast the downhill specific accident black point,at the same time comparing road safety evaluation methods commonly used currently,combining with the safety evaluation of highway project guide to determine the long downhill road safety evaluation index and standard,choosing the safety evaluation method according to the index of speed, regarding the linear continuity as the evaluation standard,establishing long downhill road accident prediction method based on the safety evaluation.For long downhill road having been completed,comparing the two prediction results with the results of accident investigation,thinking over the actual situation of the road,the main measures should be based on the accident black point corresponding passive protection, including the security infrastructure, emergency hedge lane Settings, etc. making the vehicles in the long downhill safe as far as possible,for new or proposed highway long downhill,due to lack of accident data,combining the two methods to predict the long downhill road accident black point,mainly thinking about the relevant prevention measures actively,including the highway longitudinal slope optimization of designing,information system and construction of the emergency rescue system and the design of traffic safety facilities,it can effectively prevent the happening of accident,for various types of road we should strengthen the security management,which mainly include the propaganda and education of safety and sections to determine the limit standard,combining the management measures to the prevention measures can prevent the happening of the long downhill road accident well.Through the study of this article, we know how to effectively prevent the continuous long downhill road accidents,we know how to keep safe on our continuous downhill road.
