With the development of high-speed, long distance and overloading of the driving synchronous belt, the way of high-speed intermittent transmission and theoretical has become an important research content. This thesis design a synchronous belt intermittent transmission device, based on the rigid finite element method and flexible multi-body system dynamics theory, establishing the dynamic model of the synchronous belt and the intermittent transmission device. With the help of Recur Dyn software, establishing the virtual prototype model and dynamics simulation is analyzed, thus a variety of dynamic parameters were achieved. It provides specific guidance for the design,usage and production of the actual driving synchronous belt.The thesis summarized the development of driving synchronous belt at home and abroad, studied the structure and performance of driving synchronous belt, got the static performance evaluation and test methods of the synchronous belt,analyzed the force and mesh polygon effect of the driving synchronous belt,established the transverse vibration model and longitudinal vibration model of the driving synchronous belt. Based on flexible multi-body system dynamics theory, using the method of the finite segment to deal with the infinite degree of freedom flexible body and synchronous belt dynamics equation was achieved,based on finite element method rigid body theory to establish flexible multi-body system dynamics model. The general form analyzed the modeling method of establishing rigid-flexible coupling system, and laid a theoretical basis for the driving synchronous belt dynamics model and its dynamic simulation. The theory of establishing flexible multi-body dynamic model based on the rigid finite element method, discrete the synchronous belt as rigid belt elements and flexible connections, establish the virtual prototyping model and analyse the simulation of movement process with the help of the software Recur Dyn, and achieved the required system dynamic parameters and dynamic parameters curve.To make more general and realistic for the further research, put forward a new research direction on the basis of the virtual prototype in the future.The simulation results of the virtual prototype of the driving Synchronous belt has proved that it is feasible and reasonable using the method of discrete the synchronous belt as rigid belt elements and flexible connections to build the system model. The thesis presents the general methods and steps to study the synchronous belt driving based on the virtual prototype technology, which was not only a new method for the study of the belt transmission, but also a good solution to the design and use of the driving synchronous belt in practice.
