As an important part of transferring the upper load, pile caps play an important role in the process of the design of pile foundation. The single pile cap often becomes a sticking point in engineering design, because of the particularity of its force mechanism. Therefore, the force mechanism of single pile cap and the research on design have important theoretical significance and reference value in engineering.Through the analysis of the results of previous researchers, and combined with the relevant specifications and drawings, taking the actual project as the research background, the single pile cap under shear wall is taken as the analysis object.This paper adopts ANSYS to analyze the stress and strain situation of the single pile caps and explores the ultimate bearing capacity and deformation of single pile caps in different cases of reinforcement use.On the basis of the analysis of the results of previous researches, some conclusions were obtained following the work:(1) From the actual situation of engineering, combined with the relevant specification, using the equivalent method of pile cap, the finite element model of single pile cap is established.(2) The plain concrete pile caps is established, and the finite element analysis was carried out,because to comprehend the stress distribution of the single pile cap under the shear wall. Found that the tension zone of the pile caps under shear wall is located in the middle and upper part of pile caps.(3) By analyzing the single pile cap under the shear wall of three reinforcement modes(cage, beam and plate), the cap’s deformation of the reinforcement modes is not affected. The stress of single pile cap under the cage reinforcement is the smallest and the tensile stress of the reinforcement is also minimum. The stress of the cap under the plate reinforcement is the maximum and the tensile stress of thereinforcement is also the maximum.(4) Through the analysis of the single pile cap under different reinforcement ratios(0.2%, 0.15% and 0.1%), the effect of the reinforcement ratio on the deformation of the cap is little. The pressure stress of single pile cap with the ratio of 0.1% is the maximum, and the tensile stress of the reinforcement is also the maximum. The stress of the cap with the reinforcement ratio of 0.2% is the minimum and the tensile stress of the reinforcement is also minimum.
