The stable operation of the converter valve cooling system is the foundation of high voltage direct current transmission security, Only equipped with a water cooling system of high reliability can guarantee the long-term operation of HVDC. Based on the failure mode of water cooling system, I found the maximum failure probability is the leakage of water cooling system, most of the reasons for the leak are related to Valve, so long to solute the leakage that can improve the reliability of cooling system in a certain extent. Article is Based on the analysis of the three-way valve and use innovative ways(TRIZ) to improve the reliability of the cooling system of the three-way valve, TRIZ is a innovation system through summarize the patent, there are many examples of success in the world.In order to analyze the valve better, the deep analysis of the failure mechanism and the failure mode of the three-way valve is first. Provided good basis for experimental equipment in Goaland Company, I do reliability test of the leakage problem, and analyze the data, find the three-way valve failure follows Weibull distribution, calculate the reliability index.Aim at the three-way valve leakage, through the causality analysis of the TRIZ, we can find more reason for failure; through the ideal solution analysis,we can know how to reach the ideal goal of product design; through the analysis of the 40 innovation principles and contradiction matrix, we can get the principle to improve the three-way valve leakage. Through the TRIZ analysis, after the analysis of TRIZ, Affect the reliability of the physical quantities are powerful, deformation and so on. This thesis provide design scheme to improve the three-way valve links from joint face, cover face, contact materials.In order to test the effect, I use ANSYS’s static analysis to analyze the three-way valve before and after improvement in the connection by force and deformation which affect the reliability index, through the software simulation analysis shows that in the total deformation, stress and strain have been greatly improved, which demonstrates the validity of the design scheme, proved the feasibility of TRIZ innovative design, provides a solution for the enterprise to product design.
