Satellite avionics system which aims at information gathering, processing,distributing and storing, is capable of integrating information and functions understrictly limited space situations for highly intensive and complicated space electronicsystem. It is one of five major platform systems paralleled with architecture, thermalcontrol, attitude and orbit control and energy systems, and its design leveldetermines the platform performance of the micro-satellte while the satellite platformtechnology represent the maturity of space technology. As the general system for themicro-satellte, the avionics system functions as the general electricity control centerand information pivot, which plays crucial role in the operation of the satellite.This paper develops a comprehensive research on the functions and data of themicro-satellite avionics system. It presents modularized open system architectureform the perspective of function integration, bus and software systems. Meanwhile, itelaborates the development of satellite data technical standard and selects CCSDSOrbiting System(COS) according to the application characteristics of themicro-satellite.Based on the domestic industrial level, this paper designs the avionics system formicro-satellte of SAST50according Integrated Modular Avionic(IMA) system,including standards module division, telemetry, telecommand, information flow,software, power supply, architecture, data standardization and standards moduledesign. It realizes function and data integration and represents the advantage ofmodularized avionics technology.The product of avionics system on micro-satellite of SAST50has conducted test, system docking experiment and product experiment of acceptance level, and theresults show that the technology specification satisfies the research requirement, thusit is highly valuable for engineering application and has laid a solid foundation forresearch of SAST50platform.
