Research On Technology Of Micro-Satellite Monitor And Data Management Based On Embedded Operating System

The research on Micro Satellite is highlighted in the field of astronautics. Master of the Micro Satellite technology represents integrated national power of different countries all over the world. Although Small Satellite is not so complex, the research on new technology in satellite is paid more attention to while temperature control and management of bus data transmission is the key point. In order to make Satellite work on its own, the most important thing in research is realization of stable data transmission and management in satellite.The CPU of hardware partition of this project is Intel80386EX, data between separate part is transferred on CAN bus. Redundancy control, part of data collection is used to let data management system make right decision .The embedded operating system VxWorks which is used widely in embedded system is implemented as system's software part. VxWorks has a micro kernel with highly scalable property, efficient multitask schedule, smart communication between tasks and certain interrupt latency with microsecond level as well. With high performance of Intel80386EX and reliable Embedded RTOS VxWorks, data transmission and management on Small Satellite in bad space environment is assured.Firstly,this article gives some research on the data management system of micro satellite.Secondly, it particularly dissertates porting of VxWorks under simulator,and the article focuses on the principle and device driver of CAN bus in VxWorks then the technology of data integration management system and SW-HW cross debug based on embedded system is introduced. Finally,the module debug and task implement are mainly carried out using serial port and network in host's environment. These are supported for further data management in reality of Micro Satellite.
