| Earthquake ground motion is a complex multi-dimensional movement. In essence,ground motion is in the changes of space. But a lot of people use the one-dimensionalmethod to assess structure under seismic excitation. On the basis of the investigationbackground mentioned above, the text investigates on the one-dimensional andmultidimensional seismic reaction analysis of the steel pipe arch structure using themethod of time history from various aspects, and following achievements have beenobtained:1) The structure model of steel pipe arch was established and the dynamiccharacteristics was carried out.2) Studying on the one-dimensional dynamic response of long large-span spatialgrids structures under seismic excitation effect. During the research of one-dimensionalcase, the influence on overlong large-span spatial structure by using different directionswave passage effect. The text has made a conclusion of the similarities and differencesof the analysis in three different directions.3) Studying on the multi-dimensional dynamic response of long large-span spatialgrids structures under seismic excitation effect.
