Building surface convective heat transfer coefficient is an important foundation buildingenergy analysis parameters, boundary conditions are also important urban thermalenvironment formed by wind environment,this parameter reflects the envelope convectiveheat exchange between the surface and the intensity of the air, for building heatenvironmental studies and urban heat island effects are important. Since the1950s, thebuilding thermal and energy calculation process, building surface convective heat transfercoefficient has been combined with radiation heat transfer coefficient to take a single value.However,seen from the literature,the convective heat transfer coefficient of the building andthe wind speed is closely related to the dominant wind direction,temperature,material orsurface condition and other factors, especially when the wind direction changes,theconvective heat transfer coefficient occurs a wide range of change.In recent years,with the increasing urban population and the gradual reduction of urbanland, building high-rise buildings has become the new mainstream, row upon row ofhigh-rise buildings in major cities. For high-rise buildings, the same height along the facadeof wind direction may change a lot,combined effects of wind, making possible high-risebuilding there is a big difference in the surface convective heat transfer coefficient andlow-rise or multi-buildings.In this paper, experimental and numerical methods to test the effects of wind speed anddirection of the wall surface heat transfer coefficient, we propose a new method to test theease of use of the experimental heat transfer coefficient of the wall surface, greatly simplifying the previous cumbersome testing process. In order to investigate this effect, thispaper uses the same software on a high-rise building CFD surface convective heat transfercoefficient carried out a numerical simulation. Research process to Xi’an heating periodtypical meteorological data input conditions, through the establishment of the geometricmodel and mathematical model to simulate different wind speed, wind direction and otherconditions of building surface convective heat transfer coefficient case.This paper studies some condensation envelope when precisely determine the surfaceheat transfer coefficient value on this envelope points on the surface, namely thedistribution of envelope surface heat transfer coefficient, is the key to solving the problem.This paper studies the situation outside the window and wall surface heat transfer coefficientof variation of wind speed wind direction, for architectural design and research to preventlocal thermal envelope characteristics condensation phenomena of great significance, isimportant for local design calculations foundation. In order to accurately predict the buildingload, high-rise building wind thermal environment research, addressing urban heat islandeffect in cities such as high temperature and heat of the climate problem to provide atheoretical basis.
