Lake wetland (or ancient lake wetland) distributed in china could form marsh wetlandsoft soil or clay. Different from the soft soil widely distributing on eastern coastal plainregion, wetland soft soil on plain area has it distinctive features. Mainly it appears in twoforms:1. Distribution on the banks of a river floodplain sedimentation area;2. Distributedin the edge of ancient plain inland lakes and some low-lying areas, it is usually called theplain wetland. Many of the current expressway and railway go across the lake wetland (orancient lake wetland). Project built in soft soil foundation of this section may cause manydefections like large settlement, long time to reach the settlement stability, increasing cost,and engineering quality accidents during operation.The research object of this thesis is Hengshui section of Xingtai Hengshui Expresswaywhich near the Hengshui Lake and main soil are consist wich silt, clay and silty clay.Because of the reason that the soil is the specific lacustrine soft soil, selections of treatmentmethods become the main research direction of this project. We use centrifuge experimentto research the effects on settlement of highway based on different expressway subgradetreatment methods. That is, we use mixing cement pile and vacuum surcharge preloading totreat the soft soil and observe settlements situation after construction on reinforcedlacustrine soft soil. Based on the research conclusion, we can get the conclusion oftreatment methods of the Hengshui section of Xingtai Hengshui Expressway. Theconclusion of the study has important theoretical significance and practical value to makeup for the deficiency of current processing method. At the same time, it has very importantsignificances on speeding up the subgrade soil consolidation and reducing the settlementafter construction.
