At present, the construction quality control technique for highway subgrade engineeringmostly by the fine grained soil as the basis for the research, and the large grain-size gravelpacking due to particle size composition and water content is not uniform, in fillconstruction difficult compaction or uneven compression. However, up to now has not yetformed a set of reasonable technical standards, operation procedures and standard qualityassessment. Limitations and shortcomings of large diameter gravel subgrade constructionquality detection and evaluation method, the engineering characteristics and constructiontechnology of large size gravel subgrade as the research object, based on the experimentalstudy, indoor large grain-size gravel filler particles on the engineering characteristics,through field test, study on large stone roadbed construction and quality control of keytechnology.The main research contents and results are as follows:1, the large grain with skeleton dense structure--target diameter gravel filling composition,particle size control method, recommended the surface vibration tester based on gravel wettest method of maximum dry density.2, the large grain-size gravel roadbed filler size control standards, analyzes the influence ofloose paving thickness, moisture content, compaction breakage rate and rolling mechanicalamplitude, compaction times, rolling speed to compaction effect, solves the key problem oflarge grain-size gravel subgrade paving levelling, roller frequency combination andcompaction process. Summary of requirements of large grain three phase, eight process sizestone method of subgrade construction and technology.3, through the large grain-size gravel subgrade filling field test, analysis of the advantagesand disadvantages of process control method, the construction method of water detectionmethod and deflection method, puts forward the differential settlement and settlement rateof double index control of layer thickness compression ratio control method, to determinethe thickness of the compression rate control technology requirements method and qualitydetection method.
