| With the rapidly development of socio-economic and transportation, trafficdemand is growing fastly, which brings enormous challenges to urban transport. Asthe important nodes in the urban road network, transport hubs are gradually becomingkey points of effective convergence and sustainable development which moderntransportation system should be achieve.However, with the growing of passenger flow, congestion of critical nodes insidethe hub often occurs at the peak period. The congestion seriously affects therealization of passenger transport hub functions. The large passenger flow at the peakperiod has some features, such as: time is focus, the number is large. A large numberof passenger need to be evacuated from the hub inside in a relatively short time. Ifevacuation is not timely finished, the city roads around passenger transport hub wouldbe congested. In order to ensure the normal order of urban hub’s passenger servicesand to reduce the pressure caused by too focused passenger flow, large passengerevacuation needs to be carried out fast and effectively. Evacuation of large passengerrealized mainly through three ways: outbound divert, transfer divert and inboundlimiting divert. Among those ways the outbound and transfer is the most importantway. Transfer divert mainly though the transfer between different modes oftransportation which achieve based on different transfer facilities in the hub. Thequality of the transfer scheme directly impact on the effectivity of the transferfacilities function. So, to choose the most effective transfer scheme is important.Outbound divert mainly through external transport system to complete largepassenger divert, and divert capability of external transport system closely relatedwith the layout of the hub. Therefore, to consider the reasonableness of the hub layoutis necessary. However, no matter what kind of divert methods are inseparable with thehub facilities layout. Reasonably facilities layout will speed up the large passengergrooming and improve transport efficiency. Unreasonably facilities layout will bringbottlenecks in the process of passengers transfer or access the station and seriousimpediment the large passenger grooming. Therefore, reasonable facilities layout isthe premise of quickly divert large passenger and the selecting of transfer programs..And it also is an important part of the hub layout.Based on the full analysis on the basis of the hub facility layout, multiple layoutof hub facilities and the relationship between the passenger traffic flow lines and thefacilities layout were studied. Accord the relationship, the bottleneck of largepassenger flow can be found. Under tne full analysis of formation of bottleneck, largepassenger selection methods and choice of best mitigation measures were studied. Abasis is provided for the formulation and choice of large passenger flow mitigationmeasures. |
