Fibers have diffusely prospect in engineering as the concreteadmixture. After fibers are added into the concrete, the composite can getbetter tensile strength, higher resistance to impacts and lower brittleness.Disparity fibers will bring different kind of upgrades to the mechanicalproperties of concrete. In some construction engineerings, such asmotorway road surface and military bases, construction materials of fineresistance to impacts and less tendency to crack and leak are needed.Hybrid fiber concrete which is based on the theory of composite materialcombines concrete with the fibers of varying mechanical propertiestogether. Consequently, the new composite materials can be acquiredthrough this way and they can ensure that engineering reliable andeconomic.Steel fibers have already been used in engineering. Nevertheless, therange of its use was limited as its high cost. Bamboo fibers are one kind ofgreen constraint materials and there are copious amount of bamboo inChina. It can help concrete to improve its mechanical property after mixinginto concrete. This paper studies the impact properties of hybrid steel andbamboo fibers reinforced concrete by the way of experimental method,theoretical analysis and numerical model analysis. Research the hybridfibers’ improvement effect on the impact property of concrete by contrastdifferent groups of fibers.The impact test results elucidated that the fibers help to improve theimpact properties of concrete, especially for the hybrid fibers. This paperuse ANSYS finite element software to build up the numerical model to analyze the impact resistance of fibers reinforced concrete. Akin to theexperimental results, the numerical analysis obtained the relevantconclusions. At last forward suggestion are given according to theexperimental results and numerical analysis.
