Based on the analysis of superior or weak properties on high strength concrete and only one fiber concrete, in view of contradiction of conclusions about fiber concrete at home and abroad in this area and superior properties which relative datum and composite material theory show , and some problems solved in future , this paper discusses necessity studying systematically hybrid fiber concrete. Allow for economy and properties, this paper selects steel fiber and propylene fiber to jumble at small addition (by volume), and makes orthogonal experiment and contrast experiment. Through orthogonal experiment the suitable ratio under the specific condition in this paper was found, and this paper assays effect degree that the facts that affect the properties of hybrid fiber bring to hybrid fiber. This paper tests and analyse different strength (such as compressive strength, tensile strength, punching strength etc.)of some high performance conrete mentioned in this paper. Since durability is important properties of high performance concrete, in this paper a lot of experiments and all-round analysis were done to durability. The result show that hybrid fiber concrete is superior to common concrete and one fiber concrete. Many tests indicate that properties of concrete was reinforced and improved by compound theofy, and this is much corresponding to the strengthened theory of compound materials. It's clear that hybrid fiber concrete has high performance and can be applied to those important works which have high ductile requirement, fireproof requirement, long durability and high strength requirement.
