Along with quick development of modern science and techno logy,the requirement for mechanical transmission performance is improving.Based on the previous study,this article has proposed and studied one kind cam-linkage mechanism of In-line Impulse CVT of low Impulsion Rate.Mainly completed are as follows:Started from low impulse rate, elect and ascertain the proper cam-linkage mechanism.The calculation formulas on the theory profile, cam profile, pressure angle and the minimize radius of curvature are determined.Fundamental performance parameters of this CVT and their influencing factors are systematically analyzed.The selection principles of those structural parameters are presented.In order to get the lightest weight,the best quality of transmission and the smallest velocity perturbation in the process of velocity modulation,the multi-target optimization model is established.Through the solution of this optimization model,optimum parameters of CVT are determined.The whole project of structural design is completed. Using Pro/E software to establish3D modeling, virtual assemble and interference verify.Make the process flow diagram of some main parts.The NC machining simulations on Cam of the Impulse mechanism.Manufacture the prototype,and testing the prototype engine.The theory and prototyping testing show that the Impulse CVT holds the advantages of low impulsion rate, output impulsion rate invariability in counter-rotating,small capacity, convenience manufacture and cheap.Therefore,it not only holds potential economy benefit, but also energy savings.
