Research On Controller Of Electric Steering Engine Based On ARM

Guided bomb is the shell that uses the guided device after launch. It can beaccurately hit targets by guided munitions. Guided bomb usually consists ofseveral parts; including steering gear control system is a very important part. Itwill execute precise control instructions issued seeker direct, control thedirection of steering force, according to the detected target position data bychanging the rudder force trajectory shells running in real time, making the shellshit the target accurately. The steering gear control systems usually designed bymicro controller. Operating efficiency and stability can’t be guaranteed. In thispaper, the application of a certain type of smart bombs, we design a electric servocontroller system by the S3C2440ARM9core processor with VxWorks operatingsystem.Firstly, we analysis the guidance system of the guided bomb, and thesteering system made a detailed presentation knowledge. We made a summary ofthe design and implementation of the electric servo controller. Based on previousresearch on the design, we designed an electric servo controller with thesophisticated pulse width modulation, and then designed a structure andalgorithm based PID controller. In order to enhance the performance of thecontroller, we designed a fuzzy PID control algorithm by fuzzy control theory.Meanwhile this paper also details the hardware design and implementationof electric steering gear, introduces the embedded real-time operating systemVxWorks, and transplanting the VxWorks operating system for S3C2440processor. We achieve the control algorithm for position loop, speed loop andcurrent loop on the application layer of the operating system. The new controlalgorithm has been greatly improved in performance compared with conventionalPID algorithm.
