Based on architecture, sociology, aesthetics, chromatics, optics and someother subjects, this paper analyzes the application method and design principleof color, shape and light in indoor and outdoor environments of nursery schools.On the foundation of the analysis of child psychology and behaviorism, this paperanalyzes the influence of the three elements, such as color, form and light onsetting up proper indoor and outdoor environments for the children, abiding byrelevant national standards and criteria on early childhood education andconstruction. In addition, this paper summarizes some design methods accordingto some specific kindergarten cases both at home and abroad.This paper first proposes the research background of this topic, and somepresent situations in our country, defines some key concepts and then states theimportance of this topic. Second, the following theoretical analysis of the importanceof the color, shape and light on kindergarten provides a theoretical foundation for thetopic. Part three is the analysis of the influence of the color, shape and light onindoor and outdoor environments of the nursery school, combined with thesummaries of its design principles and methods. Part four analyzes the necessaryindoor environment that helps the children grow healthily and explains some designskills in how to apply the color, shape and light. Part five analyzes the necessaryindoor environment, explaining how to incorporate the nature into the kindergarten,and make it coordinated with the indoor environment. The last part is a summary andexpectation.
