The Design And Research On Series HEV Bus By Hybridization

In recent years, most world famous automobile corporations pay more and moreattention to HEV. And in a very short period of time, HEV has been achievedindustrialization and it is accepted by consumers. The series HEV bus is researched bypeople for its good characteristics. In this paper, the main research object is the matchof key components (motor, engine, battery packs, generators and transmission), andmake series HEV bus better than the same level of city buses, especially reduce costof the vehicle and the cost of fuel consumption.This paper is also a part of ‘Double rotor hybrid powertrain development andapplication’ project in Tianjin science and technology support plan key project, whichintroduces the Design and Research on Series HEV bus by Hybridization Design. Thepaper introduces the series hybrid city bus reasonable decorate the four-stroke dieselengine, ac asynchronous induction motor and high performance NIMH battery pack.Then we use Advanced Vehicle Simulator to analyze different H with city buses. Inthe end of this paper, we get satisfied results and forecast of the HEV bus.
