Research On Reinforcement Of Pile-column Pier Diseases Under Riverbed Undercutting

With the riverbed undercutting occurring frequently, which lead to bridge collapseaccidents, the research on reinforcement of bridge diseases catched more and morepeople’s attention. In this paper, as the current lack of the reinforcement research directionand research work of the diseases caused by the riverbed undercutting, the methods ofreinforcement of Pile-Column pier diseases under riverbed undercutting and thereinforcement parameters optimizations aspects were studied on the basis of actualprojects.Research works in this paper are summarized as follows:This paper summed up the Pile-Column pier common diseases under riverbedundercutting and commonly used reinforcement methods on the basis of actual projectswhich are reinforced by our research group in recent years. This paper also analyzed thecause of the diseases and expounded the definition of Pile-Column pier ’s loss of stabilityunder riverbed undercutting and several main influencing factors.Combining with practical engineering, the article discussed the reinforcementmeasures and the reinforcement mechanism for the methods of reinforcement andreconstruction which are proposed and adopted by our research group, and used MidasCivil software to make numerical analysis for before riverbed undercutting, riverbedundercutting before reinforcement, after reinforcement and long-term riverbedundercutting four state to prove the reliability and and the effective of the reinforcementmethod after a period of time.Using the control variable methods, selected points horizontal displacement on thebridge pier as optimization index while other factors are under the same conditions.comparing the analysis and calculation results from the computing model, summed up thereasonable strengthening pile’s diameter and pile’s spacing, and puted forward the methods to control the horizontal displacement of Pile-Column pier.
