| Friction plate is an important part of automobile brake system, with the rapiddevelopment of automobile industry in our country, the demand of the frictionmaterial has been increasing rapidly. There are kinds of friction plate, and the sameseries of product have similar structure lead to lots of repetitive work in the designprocess of new products, therefore, parametric design has important significance toimprove the production efficiency. In this article, We use parametric design in thepreparation process of friction plate,developing the CAPP system software V1.0forfriction plate, Using this software we can reduce a lot of calculation and analysis inthe process of preparing the same series of friction plate. Achieving the purpose ofthe automation design, improving the intelligent level of the product design andshorting the product research and development time.The operating platform of this software is VB6.0, through AGW plugin realizethe connected and integrated of datas between Pro/E and VB6.0. Developmentprocess including the design of program interface and the connection between thesoftware. First using VB6.0establish the main interface of the system, and then withthe AGW and the type library of VB6.0, through writing corresponding codes torealize the connection between the VB6.0and various software, finally writing thecodes for each control then debugging and running application to ensure the softwarewithout bug.The system is mainly includes part design module, mold design module,process parameter module and quotes module. In part design module, base onparametric modeling principle of Pro/E, system can automatically generate thetwo-dimensional drawings and three-dimensional parts drawings of the friction platethruogh entering the appropriate data; mold design module can calculate the sizes ofpunch and die of the friction plate and generate corresponding view based on powderforming mold design method; parameter design module can generate the processparameters and process card according to different characteristic parameters of theparts and molding methods; quotation module can generate corresponding quotationthrough connected with Excel.In this paper, according to the knowledge and practical experience in the production of friction plate forming, we establish a practical CAPP system softwarefor it. The main principle is use AGW and type library file of VB6.0to carry out thesecondary development for corresponding softwares. Compared with the traditionalmanufacturing process, this system can greatly reduce the design time of frictionplate, avoid duplication of work and improve work efficiency. |
