AC contactor is suitable for remote operation of the automatic control of electricalappliances, it is suitable for frequent switching on and off the AC main circuit and controlcircuit.Contact collision and core collision will happen in the closing course of ACcontactor.It cause the mechanical and electrical wear.Contact collision with greater speed,result in more severe mechanical wear of contact, contact bounce also caused more seriousmechanical wear.By designing the phase selector of AC contactor, can reduce the ACcontactors’ collision speed of contact and cores in the closing course,improve the life of ACcontactor.In this paper, analyzed and discussed the AC contactor closing course comprehensively.The main contents of the paper include the following aspects:Firstly, The phase of CJX2-115/150type AC contactor closing course were analyzed。Different closing phase angle corresponded to different excitation voltage. It has differenteffects on the AC contactor.Through the design of phase selection circuit such as excitationcoil voltage control circuit, the zero crossing detection circuit,DC holding circuit, single chippower supply circuit, AC/DC conversion control circuit and so on,can reduce the contactbounce and improve the life of AC contactor.At the same time, by designing the SCMprocedures, can control circuit reasonably, so as to achieve the accurate closing purposes.Finally, Understanded of the field bus technology and discussed the AC contactor phaseselection system’s communications part simply.
