Study On Construction Method Of Steel Structure Building Wall

Developing green building is the architectural development trend of China in future. As representative of green building, steel structure buildings have the performance characteristics of "light, rapid, well, and saving", which can meanwhile meet the requirements of ecological carrying capacity. The change of structural form and use materials make the construction method of steel structure building wall be different from that of traditional reinforced concrete structure. In the construction design of steel structure building wall, the construction method of traditional building should not be simply applied mechanically, which should also be different from other architectural form. Thus it should select appropriate materials and construction method.Starting from the angle of science of building technology, and basing on theories such as materials science, mechanics, and principle of building construction, this paper carried out survey and research on materials selection, connection and construction method of steel structure building wall respectively from three aspects such as building blocks, boards, and curtain wall. It proposed the selection suggestion on wall materials of steel structure buildings via the comparison and analysis on structural performance, retaining performance, construction technology performance, economic performance, and wall decoration. It carried out conclusion and analysis on the connection and construction method of wall and steel structure from the aspects of connection between wall and wall, wall and steel member, wall and doors/windows/curtain wall. In addition, it conducted optimization analysis on the connection and construction method of steel structure building wall combining with cases, and obtained some conclusion on connection and construction method.This paper expects to obtain part of theoretical conclusion on construction method of steel structure building wall via research. The optimized selection on wall materials can provide appropriate building wall materials; and optimization analysis on wall connection method is convenient for flexibly applying connection and construction method, which can enrich architectural design language.
