A New Explore Of Photocatalyst And Indoor Decoration Design In Interior Public Space

More than90%of the time in our life is spent indoors. Therefore, interior airquality is essential to human health. With the development and progress of society andthe improvement in people’s living standards, interior decoration has become anincreasingly prominent issue as harmful substances may be released, not onlythreatening human health but also polluting the environment.In recent years, interior air pollution caused by interior decoration has drawn wideattention from the industry in the aspects of management and control. A large numberof professionals have been conducting various studies on pollutants in interior designand on how to prevent them and what to do after getting polluted, and developed awide variety of environment-friendly materials and air-purifying devices for interiordecoration, forming a new model of interior decoration in combination of greeninterior design. However, this model is still in its infancy and many methods are stillunder exploration. Meanwhile, there are still many gaps in the studies on theapplication of new material combined with interior design, blindness in practice,imperfections in approaches and methods, and market demand. This article brieflyanalyzes how to create a green interior environment in the decoration design of thenew photocatalyst material combined with interior public space and is, therefore, ofgreat significance to the healthy development of interior environment.From the perspective of the related theories on how photocatalyst materialpurifies harmful substances, in combination with the concept of green interior design,and based on the studies on the theory, way and ability of purification of photocatalystmaterial as well as the principle of green interior design, this article sums up the principle for the application of photocatalyst in green interior decoration and design,puts forward the harmless principle, ecological principle, energy-saving principle,good-looking principle, economic principle. Meanwhile, in combination withdecoration, the article summarizes the countermeasures for creating green environmentin public interior space which include active purification and passive purification in theapplication of photocatalyst material in interior decoration, and a combined method ofactive and passive purification.Through the analysis and comparison of the researches on the traditional interiorpublic space decoration, and indoor environment of green buildings, as well as theapplication of photocatalyst material in interior public space, we have found thatindoor environment of green buildings is more healthy and environment-friendly thanthat of traditional buildings due to the green elements like the fresh air ventilationsystem. But the space and environment is better than the interior environment of greenbuildings and traditional buildings after the treatment of photocatalyst material. Atpresent, China is still at the initial stage in the application of photocatalyst material ininterior decoration and design. While improving its ways of applying materials, Chinais still facing challenges due to failure to combine it with art. To address theseproblems, we have successfully developed the solutions from the perspective ofphotocatalyst and interior design principles. By combining active purification withpassive purification, we have applied the photocatalyst material according to differentindoor spaces and made the photocatalyst material artistic, improving the applicationof the photocatalyst material in the design of interior space.In conclusion, the application of the photocatalyst material used in indoor publicspace decoration based on the analysis of the functions of the photocatalyst materialand the design combined with the materials and related researches and practical caseshas proved that it is reasonable to use the material in interior decoration design. Andthe related researches on combining the design with the material prove its rationalitythrough practical application and simulated application. The article has not onlyconducted field investigation into the practical cases, but also demonstrated it incombination with the simulated cases in the development, in hopes of providingreference to applying the photocatalyst material in the indoor decoration design of public spaces.
