With steel production capacity increasing annually in our country, related policieson steel structure have been rolled out. With excellent properties, the light steel structureworkshop began to capture market more and more. However, there are still manyproblems in practical application of this kind structure, further studying is needed topromote a healthy development of it.According to background conditions, referring to the door frame of light steelstructure houses Atlas, different types of light steel plant structures (the bent structurewith roof trusses of angle-Split T section steel, the bent structure with roof trusses ofcircular steel tube and the portal frame structure) are built, and the analysis of thesystem of light steel plant structure has expanded on. The main investigations are asfollows:1. In accordance with current design specifications, through PKPM software threedifferent types of light steel plant structures and its components are calculated analysis,the economical and reasonable cross-section form of components are proposed, themain control parameters of the structural design of light steel plant are obtained (thecapitals horizontal displacement under the action of wind load controls the design of thebent structure; the stress ratio controls the design of the portal frame structure).2. With the amount of steel as the evaluation criteria, the steel consumption perunit area of light steel plant structures, which is under three different types ofarchitectures at different column grid layout, is analyzed, the column grid layout rulesare explored and the economic column grid layout is proposed. By comparing threetypes of architectures, the economic architecture is submitted.3. With the construction cost as the evaluation standard, in accordance with the existing pricing norms and fixed, by GLODON software, the construction cost per unitarea of light steel plant structures, which is under three different types of architectures atdifferent column grid layout, is analyzed and calculated, the column grid layout law isexplored, the economic column grid layout is made. By comparing three types ofarchitectures, the economic architecture is submitted.
