Tradi-tional residence contains the concept of green and energy saving measures of therich in the construction process, make it become the research focus of scholars.Many scholars of traditional residential green construction experience were stud-ied, and achieved rich results. At the same time, the climate is not only the pre-requisite of traditional houses and the earliest generation of factors, the most im-portant factor which effects over the traditional houses have regional differences.Therefore, to study the relationship between types of dwelling and climate adapt-ation to climate and summarized residential green construction experience is animportant subject that we face.Firstly, on the middle and lower reaches of Yangtze River typical traditionaldwellings conducted field research and the collection and collation of the resid-ential areas around the case, then the investigation and collection of residentialcase analysis and comparison, the lower reaches of the Yangtze River third buil-ding climate region of residence was the type and distribution of.And then we distribute the typical residential (courtyard) on the middle andlower reaches of the Yangtze River into different types and each type â…¢A,â…¢B,â…¢C three climate zones, mainly discusses the relationship between types and cli-matic courtyard houses. Finally it sums up the types and distribution of building climate zone â…¢courtyard dwellings, summed up the different types of courtyardhouses to adapt to climate characteristics.Finally, we summarize the green construction experience of typical houses inthe middle and lower Yangtze River (courtyard) which can adapt to the climate.Traditional construction technology of climate adaptation includes two aspects ofvillage and the house.
