Any site has its own overall properties, and we usually just appreciate some ofthem displayed at present in small range nearby and fail to predict their future or overallanalyze their major elements visible or invisible. Therefore, the properties and featuresshould be analyzed from comprehensive aspects. In this study, the way to excavate anddiscover the invisible present in sites is explored so as to establish right site analysissystem. Specifically, multi-perspective mixed review&planning approach,system-environment relation in system theory, function-structure relation, theory ofhierarchy and McHarg’s "multi-layer steamed bread mode" are adopted to construct siteanalysis system. The existing site analysis methods are reviewed and analyzed, thenseveral case studies are conducted, and accordingly a universal site analysis system isdesigned based on multi-perspective deduction.This paper consists of seven chapters, determining topic and discussing it step bystep. Chapter One, Introduction, mainly introduces the background, purpose,significance, object, content, methods and framework of research. Chapter Two reviewsthe literatures about core concepts and theories, especially the multi-perspective mixedreview&planning theory, system theory and multi-layer steamed bread superpositiontheory, laying theoretical foundation for the following site analysis system development.Chapter Three puts forward the concept of spatial analysis unit from macro regionalscale and analyzes the development location and spatial structure of the site’s regional spatial analysis unit. Chapter Four conducts meso unit scale analysis for development ofsite analysis system, analyzes the unit development positioning and the suitability ofspatial structure proposed from macro perspective, and gets an ideal unit environment.Then based on the coupling relationship of site and ideal unit environment, the sitedevelopment positioning and spatial structure in unit environment are concluded.Chapter Five analyzes the construction of site analysis system from micro perspective;specifically, the site resources are analyzed, then the site’s features are summed up, andthe site’s value factors and restrictive factors are distinguished. The suitability of sitedevelopment positioning and spatial structure is figured out based on currentcomprehensive situation of the site, and then the ideal site environment is realized,laying foundation for planning and design of final schema. Chapter Six conducts casestudies with Weinan Youhe Park as example to verify the feasibility of site analysissystem put forward in this study, so as to apply theory into practice and enrich thetheory by practice. Chapter Seven draws conclusions of the site analysis system.The innovation of this paper: Firstly, multi-perspective mixed review&planningtheory, concepts of system theory and multi-layer steamed bread mode are integratedinto the development of site analysis system. Secondly, project site analysis system isestablished based on multi-perspective deduction. Thirdly, with the site analysis systemproposed in this study, the space contradiction in general layout and detailed structure,the time contradiction between present situation and planning, supply-and-demandcontradiction between land and users are interpreted.
