Currently, it has been achieved that the business work of the world’s leading aviationcompanies was accomplished by digitization. The information nodes scattered around theworld have been connected by using of information technology to achieve the informationsharing of production, technology, services between manufacturer, supplier, and customerand to provide customers with efficient, perfect and convenient services. In this situation, ithas become imminent inevitable choice that to provide digital services for the industry.As one of the core customer service, civil aviation materials business has to beconstructed as soon as possible. Civil aircraft spare parts management information system isone of fundamental systems to digitize aviation materials. The most frequent businessincluding sales, purchasing and inventory are processed and large amounts of aviationmaterial data is stored for business analysis, information sharing, data mining to provide themost primitive of information resources by the system. Excellent civil aircraft spare partsmanagement information system is able to ensure the safety of aircraft operations andcontinuing airworthiness, reducing operating costs of aircraft manufacturers and customers,improving customer economic benefits and market competitiveness, improving aircraftmanufacturer’s core competitiveness.The favorable management information system construction process requires systematicand comprehensive analysis and design phase, using proven methods and tools. Systemsanalysis is able to help the enterprise sort out the structure and mechanism of targetorganization; reconstruct a more rational business processes, further export clear demand asthe inputs of Rational Unified Process. System design is the physical design phase ofmanagement information system. According to inputs of the system analysis phase, using the IT theory to determine a solution that is able to be implemented on user’s computer networkenvironment.In this paper, to solve the problem in Aviation spare parts civil aircraft manufacturingenterprise information construction, enterprise business model is established. Oriented toAviation spare parts business demand, the roles, functions, processes and data of AviationSupport business are confirmed. Considering the actual situation of Aviation spare partsmajor business (including Aviation Spare Parts data management, forecast List and inventorycontrol), the business model is described. Based on business model, system design iscompleted by using the mature product plus secondary development idea. Finally, the primarypoint is emphasized during system realization. When the system is stable and running forsome time, the actual operational capacity of the system has to be evaluated to ensure thesystem’s construction conforms to the enterprise strategic objectives (improving aviationmaterial support system construction and improving the efficiency of the Aviation spare partsbusiness).
