Abstract/Summary:
Electronic control technology is one of the key technologies to meet the power,economy and emissions requirements. Recently, the diesel engine functions becomesmore and more complex, the parameters increases exponentially, which makes thecalibration work extremely difficult. Therefore, this research is aim to get the calibrationprocess by the way of studying the diesel engine basic calibration process and the typicalcalibration conditions. And based on this, this article carried out the research on air-fuelratio model calibration of electronic control unit pump diesel engine.With the development of electronic control technology, the research on the calibrationprocess has become a focus of this field. This paper put forward the diesel enginecalibration process on the base of calibration contents and technique means. The contents ofdiesel engine calibrations include basic calibration (the calibration of sensors and thecalibration of actuator), the calibration of steady process and dynamic process. Thecalibration means includes object-based calibration and model-based calibration.The traditional control for heavy diesel engines are mainly concentrated in the fuelinjection control, and air-fuel ratio control is a new technology in the diesel engine field.However, in recent years with the diesel engine power increasing, it is a trend of developingthe research on air-fuel ratio control of diesel engine. In this paper, the air-fuel ratiocalibration is carried on YC4E170electronic unit pump diesel engine, including theaccurate calibration of oil and the air intake. This experiment carried out the calibration ofunit pump system on the bench, and searched the key factor influence rules of intake aircharging efficiency based on GT-Power model. The fuel of electronic control unit pump isaffected by the basic pump characteristics, injection timing, cylinder oil consistency, zerooil, electric-hydraulic-mechanical delay and the external environment. This paper studiesthe influence relations and rules of each parameters, puts forward the modified calculationof the correction calculation and the intake air quantity calculation, and verify the effect andfeasibility of modified air fuel ratio.To sum up, the calibration process referred at this paper has certain referencesignificance for electronic control system of diesel engine calibration. The designed air-fuelratio calibration method can support the control strategy of diesel engine, which has beenutilized to some controller program and achieved some effects.
