Tectonic deformation simulation experiment is a kind of physical experiment methodsthat simulation results can reproduce a variety of fracture by the experiment deviceproviding stress loading. At present, tectonic deformation experiment devices are lack ofpolydirectionaland high-precision automatic control system, which limits the simulationexperiment to develop towards a quantifiable and repeatable direction,meanwhile,simulation experiments also exist such problems as complex process, large timespan, resources consumption significantly. Subject is based on the similarity theory andfault formation mechanism, small tectonic deformation experiment device was designed anddeveloped. This device can realize integration operation such as model precast, structuraldeformation,cutting sealing, grease filling.etc.The formed geological model does not needthe secondary carry. It can realize the effective protection of geological model. And it hasthe characteristics of compact structure, powerful and easy operation.Based on the system control requirements, subject puts forward the overall controlscheme of the small tectonic deformation experiment device.It develops electric controlsystem based on PLC and servo system. It realizes the accurate control of tectonicdeformation dynamic loading units. It Completes system development tasks bothhardware and software.The hardware part carries on the equipment type selection, ac servocircuit, NC positioning control system scheme, hardware circuit of portable mobileconsole,electrical control cabinet design. According to control requirements, based on themodular thought,subject completes the upper computer, PLC and touch screen softwaresystem design and development. Among them, PLC software system mainly includes themaster-slave control module of PLC,mechanical equipment protection module.,back to zero and synchronous control module, etc.The whole control system is divided into three layers from top to bottom, reduces thecomplexity of the system and improves the communication efficiency. PC and touch screenform man-machine interaction interface, which enhances visualization and maneuverability,better realizes the synchronization between operating and the experiment requirements.Based on PLC and servo drive,NC servo system realizes the NC positioning control ofdynamic loading units, improves the accuracy of control system. The designed doublemechanical equipment protection module, hard limit+soft limit,effectively ensures thesafe and stable operation of the electric control system.The small tectonic deformation experiment device electric control system, developedby the subject, through more than a year of running test, has reached system designrequirements which has run stably, whose accuracy is up to standard.It provides tectonicdeformation simulation experiment with a new technical method and experiment platform.
