With the development of photoelectric equipment, the ability to turn around quickly become an important indicator of photoelectric equipment, some of the traditional control algorithms can not meet the needs when fast positioning of the photoelectric equipment.Bang-Bang control in photoelectric equipment with large angle imbalance has been applied, its fast has been shown to is a good control algorithm, for the fast positioning capacity of photoelectric equipment, system for the switch into the small scope to stable capture and track the target, to ensure the accuracy of the laser ranging. Such the shortcomings of Bang-Bang control will be revealed, that is, after the Bang-Bang control into the small deviation, proved to be extremely unstable, and the convergence rate is relatively slow. A variable structure control method based on this paper is presented in this paper. The information system sent switch command to servo control system, servo judge switch angle, and switch according to the three-dimensional information of the variable structure control, namely the coarse tracking uses Bang-Bang control, when the extraction threshold of the image satisfied for the contrast of the target, it switches linear control into the small deviation range, and during the linear control, it puts forward the strategy of infrared an order capturing and infrared second-order tracking depending on the characteristics of different regulators.
