With the rapid development of national economy and the expansion of powersupply systems, the electric power network has become increasingly complicated, aswell as the demand for the reliability of power systems are much higher. In wholepower system should run error because of various malfunction from wrongoperation by human or natural disaster and so on. But, the protection equipmentsystem can be point out the error working condition and malfunction of powerdevice correct, can be operates to switch device rapidly and selective on the sametime, separates off the faulty device from whole power system running, so that toensure the power device and power circuit working normal. Reduce the effects offaulty power device as far as possible. That we name it demand for the reliability ofpower systems, protects to the customer using power system safety, reliability andstability efforts.Currently, most Low voltage protection system device is the aims at detailprotective objects makes design and development, it has low reusability, also lack ofextensibility. There is insatiable for the demand of power system developed ascurrent technologies, it will be many problems besides.The report background on actual project of company, and base on analysisrecent all Low voltage protection Device not only internal but also abroad deeply forthe most merits and demerits, and we have the conclusion that about technicalproposal to improves the Low voltage protection Device. The software of Lowvoltage protection Device base on Embedded operating system uCOS-II todesign and apply, it use modularity design base on bedded system after removal, andit splits the system four parts as system service, protection and control, platformsoftware, system manage, the development of Low voltage software is achieved,and it achieves general protected function such as three-sectional current protection、inverse time over-current protection、 zero sequence current protection、non-electricity protection. At the same time, through the strict functional testing andperformance testing, verify the feasibility of the technical scheme, the reliability andscalability.
