When Country made the policy for building a moderately prosperous society, building a resource-saving and environment-friendly of a harmonious socialist society, the power electronics and power transmission faced a great opportunity. Power electronics and power electronic devices had increasingly widely used and penetrated into the energy, environment, manufacturing, defense, and other industries.Researching power electronic applications included electric traction,motor drive,etc.,in developed countries,about 40% of energy consumption by electric form,while 50% to 60% of the total electric power for motor drive.With continuous improvement and mutual penetration of microelectronics technology,measuremnt and control technology,computer technology and communication technology,intelligent instruments,network equipment and other electronic products were promoted more effectively and quickly in direction of small size,low power consumption,high accuracy,precise control,multifunction and nerworking.These complied with the development and characteristics of embedded systems,making the intelligent electronic products toward higher speed,more sensitive,more convenient,more reliable to detect comprhensive information of objects.In this paper we studied ARM7-TDMI processor core andμClinux Operating System,and achieved power parameters remote detection system combining with Ethernet technology.The system integrates the analog voltage input module, AD conversion module,Ethernet module,the processor core, memory and other components,reducing the external circuit and overall system cost.To create cross-compiler environment for the system,under the Windows Operating System to create a virtual operating system,and in Red hat 9.0 Operating System to istablish the sameμClinux operating environment as monitoring equipment in which to develop required drivers and applications.System achieved the simultaneous monitoring two-way voltage parameters,and transmitted to the monitoring terminal via Ethernet.
