With the computer and microelectronics technology applications in the deepening ofthe relay protection, microcomputer relay protection is one of the effective methods toguaranteeing the safe and stable operation of power system. In view of the currentshortage of line microcomputer protection to improve the design of hardware andsoftware of microprocessor protection device,And will accelerate the Newton iterativemethod is applied to the system of the square root to improve the calculation speed ofdata. The device is suitable for66kV and below voltage line. This paper describesprotection algorithms and protect logic configurations of power Line microcomputerprotection device and discusses the design process of hardware and software system.both hardware and software system are designed by the modularized design methods.Hardware module mainly has protective measurement and control module, analogueacquisition and toning module, switch input and output module, communicationmodule and human-computer interface mode. Software module mainly haveprotection main program module, sampling interrupt service module, breakdownprocessing module and communication module. In addition, this paper analyzes thecauses of microcomputer protection interference and puts forward the correspondinganti-jamming measures. A lot of simulation experiment results show that the PowerLine microcomputer protection equipments designed in this paper have characteristicsof high measuring accuracy, operating speed, and communication reliability, whichmeet all the requirements of the design.
