Study On The Shading Structure Design Of The East-west External Window For Residential Buildings In Guangzhou

The exterior windows of residential buildings are disturbed by solar radiation seriouslyin Guangzhou area， people’s normal life are interfered and air conditioning energyconsumption caused by radiant heat are huge. Achieving energy efficiency in buildings toimprove indoor thermal environment is urgent，and setting exterior sunshade component outof windows is the effective way.Through investigating residential building in Guangzhou area and the shade productsfrom manufacturers, author find out the problems which existing in building windows andutilization of shade products. Considering essentials for residential building such as lighting,ventilation and view, author invent three type shade structures which containing five speciesfor East and West outside window to resolve these problems, the contents are as follows:The first type study：The structure is suitable for installation and maintenance for shadingproduct.The second type study：The structures are based on the facade of mainstream buildingwhich could keep their style after adding shading structures.The third type study：Integration design for building windows and shading，which givesome suggestions for future facade form.The external shading coefficients of development structures are verified to meets thestrong requirements of standard in Design standard for energy efficiency of residentialbuildings in hot summer and warm winter zone through building exterior shading coefficientcalculation formula，and the bound value could be inverse.The range of area ratio of windowto wall is obtained through calculation formula for weighted average overall shadingcoefficient of window. Then turn values into intuitive scale, according to appreciation authorgive some suggestion for choosing reasonable figure scope.By shading analysis chart and simulation for structure’s shading effect in key time pointby Sketchup software more intuitive shading effects could be obtained.
