| With the rapid development of China’s industrialization process, the water continues toprogress the development of water distribution networks, water distribution project cost ofeach fee is also rising.Water Distribution Network through optimized configuration andoptimization of the design, in order to achieve maximum economic benefits in exchange for alow investment, becomes increasingly important.Water supply pipe network is an importantpart of water supply system. It’s the largest subsystem of the Water supply system, theinvestment in the water supply system accounts for about60%~80%of total investment, Thedesign of pipeline system is reasonable or not, that will directly affect the whole water supplysystem of the investment. Therefore, the system shall be designed to make the layout ofnetwork and the value of pipe diameter to optimize. And to ensure water supply system of thewater pressure, water quantity and water quality to ensure safety, reliability and economy ofwater supply.First this paper describes the contents and significance of optimal design of water supplynetworks, briefly introduces the existing optimization methods, analysis and compares thedifferent optimization method and points out its applicability and shortcomings. Then thispaper summarizes the various factors affecting the result of optimization design of watersupply networks.Then introduces important in optimization theory solution simplex method,in order to convert a value of annual cost objective function, the establishment of anappropriate system of linear equations, the result has a certain value in theory and application.As an engineering example of the water supply system in Gansu in a technological collegecampus, through the survey of existing data and basic water pipeline laying status statistics,establish relevant mathematical model of linear programming model for the relevantcalculation using the simplex method, optimized design results in cost savings overconventional designs. |
