With the rapid growth of the city, traffic jam is becoming more and more serious.For signalized intersection it is an effective way to relieve the bottleneck problem ofurban traffic congestion to implement variable lane control. Signalized intersectionimplement variable lane can effectively improve the capacity of the intersection of theroads in the existing resource conditions. Therefore, this paper based on signalizedintersection at variable lane main pre-transition issues attribute signal coordinationcontrol were studied.In this paper, timing theory, the basic theory of delays and capacity of urban roadsignal control are explored to study the intersection lane main road variable methodpre-signal coordination control. First the paper introduced the concept of variable andvariable-lane signalized intersection lanes and the implementation of the pre-signalconditions and requirements laid detector signalized intersection lane control variabletype; then in accordance with the time and the capacity of the intersection signal theanalysis discusses the basic theory of change under different traffic conditions beforeand after the signalized intersection capacity variable lane change attributes derivedattribute variable lane change control conditions; then to get the properties of variablelane change threshold the capacity before and after the change of variable lane underdifferent traffic conditions signalized intersection were analysised; then divided intodifferent circumstances signalized intersection at the relationship between the mainpre-coordinated control signal is variable lane attribute transition theoreticalderivation and analysis, the relationship between the model under different scenariosbetween the main pre-coordinated control signal; Finally to comparative analysis thevehicles running track state and delays vissim before and after implementation ofvariable lane control at the signalized intersection the method of simulation were used.The result proved that variable lane control at the signalized intersection caneffectively reduce delays and queue length of vehicles.Thus the traffic controller canhave a theoretical basis and support when they control.
