With the rapid economic development and urbanization advancement of China,traditional transportation that mainly by bus is gradually replaced. Now in many bigcities of China, subway becomes the most important part of city transportation.Environment control system is an important part of the subway, has the characteristicsof long time running and high energy consumption. In China, energy problembecomes more serious, it is very significant to optimizing environment control system,saving energy, reducing initial investment and operating cost of subway.In the article, we calculated the hourly load of typical double-Island subwaystation using PSD system, and the hourly energy consumption of HVAC system.By analyzing the passenger number, light, equipment, heat transfer, outdoor airload etc. of typical station, we we calculated the hourly load. And the result is used toprovide the data for the rational project development of environment control system.With the reference of JieDaoKou station in Wuhan Metro Line2, this article useEnergyPlus modeling the station structure and HVAC system, and simulate the annualenergy consumption. At the same time, also analysis the monthly energy consumptionof fan, pump, chiller, tower, air handling units. Compared the characteristic ofcommon system control methods. Mainly introduced the fuzzy control method andthe BP neural network control method.By analyzing and researching the load and energy consumption of subwaystation, we got the following conclusions:1、The energy consumption of ventilation and air conditioning system accountfor37.3%of the total energy consumption of the subway station. In air conditioningseason the number is about three times the non-air conditioning season. Simulationresults matches actual situation.2、At present, subway station use one return time and constant air volumesystem. Fan works throughout the whole year, and its energy consumption account for31.78%of ventilation and air conditioning system, meanwhile pumps work in airconditioning season, energy consumption account for9.88%. If we use VAV and VRVsystem, there will be a significant saving in subway energy consumption. 3、We did a quantitative analysis of subway station hourly load, air supplyvolume and refrigerating output of ventilation and air conditioning system. And theresults provide a theoretical basis for development of ventilation and air conditioningsystem control program.
