Electrical energy is the basic power for the regular running of today’s society,and the power grid undertakes the work of transporting it. Therefore, running in thehealth status of the power grid is the guarantee for our normal work and life, and toestablish on-line monitoring system of the grid and analysis the monitoring data hasimportant practical significance. At present, it has taken some progress in monitoringthe power grid health status. But the sites construct their own system respectively,which leads to the monitoring data is stored in each monitoring site server having nocontact each other, and forms a series of “data islands”. In this kind of circumstance,we can’t analysis the monitoring data comprehensively on a national scale or a largerarea, and this leads to the data can’t be used effectively the resource is wasted. Howto aggregate these dispersed monitoring data, and how to analysis the integrated dataand how to present the results of the analysis is the primary problem of the analysis ofthe power health status.In the first, this paper proposes the model of the power grid health status dataanalysis based on active service according to the characteristics of the power gridhealth status data analysis. The model architecture has three layers, it is access layer,application layer and data management layer from top to bottom respectively.Secondly, it analyzes the demand of the power grid health status data warehouse,makes clear the purpose and theme of data warehouse, and build the data warehousemodel, then build and populate the data warehouse using Microsoft’s data warehousesolution and data connection middleware, which could provides a foundation supportfor the power grid health status analysis. It analyzes the data warehouse of power gridhealth status in multi-dimension based on the on-line analytical processing technology,builds analysis methods, which could show the distribution of alarm types and levelsfor each region, and this could provide decision support for the next phase of thepower grid construction in the region. The analysis could estimate the fault locationof the line with problem using evidence theory, and reduce the time duration of faultdetection effectively. Finally, it shows the result of the power gird health status analysis on the web combing the thought of active service, which could figure out theproblem that the web can’t response users’ requirements dynamically.This paper builds the power grid health status data warehouse and decisionsupport and fault analysis method on aggregating the monitoring data on the basis oftransmission line on-line monitoring and analyzing system, analyzes the health statusof the power grid and diagnoses the location of the line fault, displays the results onthe web integrating the concept of active service. This brings convenient for powergrid management department in understanding power grid health status as a whole,and then they could makes the right decisions could improve utilization of networkresources.
