This paper discusses the theory of optimization on regional integrated passenger hub.The main purpose is to make a scientific planning, build a regional comprehensive passengerhub reasonably and achieve effective convergence of various modes of transport. At the sametime, in this paper, we aim to give full play to the overall advantages of comprehensivetransport, promote the development of new urbanization, improve the urban functions andpromote the development of regional integration. However, the decision on the location ofregional comprehensive passenger hub is affected by many factors so that the process ofoptimization is large and complex. Therefore, this paper aims to minimize the total cost oftransportation in order to analyze systematically this problem by summarizing some previousachievements of researches. The main research work is as follows:Firstly, the paper gives a comprehensive analysis on comprehensive passenger hub. Inthis paper, it gives a simply introduction about the concept of comprehensive passenger hub.And then it formulates characteristics from different angles, gives a detailed description onthe classification and functions of the comprehensive passenger hub. And we compare theexperience of construction of comprehensive passenger hub both home and abroad.Secondly, the paper finds the easy-to-quantify key factors by analyzing various factorsthat influence the development of comprehensive passenger hub, in order to ascertain theindex which is used during the primeval selection of hubs. The paper uses association-entropy law to definite the entropy index, and then calculates traffic location importance ofany urban nodes in the integrated transport network, which achieves the alternative cities inthe regional comprehensive passenger hub.Afterwards, the paper uses elasticity coefficient method and multiple linear regressionmodels to predict the passenger demand of alternative cities and determine the number ofcomprehensive passenger hub. By analyzing the passenger demand distribution and trafficgeographic condition of hubs, the paper establishes a linear optimization model thatminimizes the total cost of transportation. This model can meet the demand of the planningregionFinally, in this paper, it takes the comprehensive passenger hub in Chongqing as anexample. And I find out the predictive values of population, economics and passenger trafficby calculation. It substitutes these actual values into the model to calculate the important hubsaccording to the algorithm.
