Railway is our national important transportation infrastructure and the corn stone ofnational economy. As public favorite transportation tools, railway has larger volume, lowerprice and higher speed, etc., which plays a crucial role in the transport field and absolutely isthe backbone of the transportation industry. In recent years, the occurrence of emergencies resulted in the damage to the railwaynetwork as well as threatening people’s lives and property. Therefore, it is necessary to studythe methods of train operation organization under emergency conditions, so as to control thedeterioration of the situation and to minimize the harm to people by the railway which couldmake people’s life more stable.Firstly, this paper explained the basic problems of train operation organization underemergency conditions from the research background, significance and current researchsituation at home and abroad.Secondly, the author summarized the definition, classification, characteristics andincentives of railway emergencies as well as the principles, purposes and methods of trainoperation rescheduling. According to the different situations, this paper analyzed theprinciples, strategies and adjusting ideas of train operating programs under emergencyconditions. Finally, according to the characteristics of railway emergencies, this paper which wasbased on the theory of path problem in graph theory analyzed problems and factors involvedby feasible paths set under the emergencies, then built the model of the paths set and putforward the solving algorithm. Besides, based on the methods of the paths set, the authorestablished the selection model of train operation paths based on satisfactory optimizationtheory under emergency conditions depending on non-normal train operation under theemergencies. What’s more, this paper implemented the redistribution of train paths andrestored normal train operation influenced by emergencies.By assuming the emergencies under virtual environments, the author used an example toanalyze.
