Both domestic and foreign bridge with the increasing operation time, there are defectsmore or less. To ensure the safety and normal operation,it’s necessary to take measures toreinforce. Bridge repair and reinforcement, both performance evaluation of bridge structuresare the premise and basis to take reasonable and effective repair and reinforcement measures.In addition, the performance evaluation of the bridge structure reinforcement after repair is ameans to judge its effect and structure reinforcement.In this paper the main bridge of Dongguan City, the old River Bridge (strut framedconcrete continuous beam bridge) as an example, is using finite element theory analysiscombined with the static, dynamic load test of reinforced bridge detection, and according tothe test results of the key sections to take capacity evaluation. Compared with the test resultsof the comprehensive analysis, the mechanical behavior of the bridge before and afterreinforcement was investigated, and the reinforcement effect was evalued. It is validated byfinite element theory analysis of dynamic and static load test of the feasibility of bridgeevaluation, and the rationality of the reinforcement methods of bridge. The following aspectsare discussed and researched:1. Summary the common methods of the detection and evaluation of reinforced concretebridge,and introduce the skill of repair and strengthening.. 2.To the bridge, introduces its testing content, and analyze its main diseases, andaccording to the visual inspection, finite element analysis of static, dynamic load test resultsof the bridge to evaluate the bearing capacity, and provides a basis for the repair andreinforcement.3. Introduces the principle of reinforcement design of bridge. Combined with the actualsituation of the real bridge, introduce the method of vitro prestressed reinforced concretestructure reinforcement and the construction.
