Study On Planning Of Rural Tourism Complex In Suzhou

With its abundant tourist activities and diversified development mode, the tourismcomplex caters the tourists’ traveling demand of relaxing vacation, cultural experienceand business meetings, etc. it has gradually become the hot issue which people attachimportant to. At present, most of the development and construction of tourism complexprojects focus on urban areas, seldom do they involve in the rural places. The researchand development planning of rural tourism complex is a certain exploratory. Taking thetraditional villages in Suzhou as a case, this paper researches the theoretical study andanalyses the actual case.Firstly, basic research of rural tourism complex is conducted. The attributivecharacter of rural tourism complex is analyzed from the aspects of concept definition,essential feature, influential factor, development conditions and development ways, etc.Secondly, the theoretical system of rural tourism complex is structured. Based on newtype, unified type and ascension type, the theoretical system of rural tourism complex isstructured from the aspects of function system, spatial arrangement, theme image, servicefacilities and scale level, etc.Then, case study is conducted. Dong village, Luxiang village, Yangwan village andSanshandao in Suzhou city have been picked respectively as the planning case. Accordingto each village’s actual situation and development conditions, Dong village is defined asnew type case, while Luxiang and Yangwan village as the unified type case andSanshandao as the ascension type case. Starting from the actual situation and planningaspects, the planning study of them as rural tourism complex is carried out. And on thisbasis, this paper summarizes these three development ways, and emphasis has been clearabout the various development way of planning.At last, relevant suggestions is put forward to the ensuring of plan implementation ofrural tourism complex.
