Taking into account the gradually expanded scale of large interconnected powersystem, especially the UHV synchronous grid successfully puts into operation, inorder to realize the online check, improving the computational speed is the key.Parallel computing is an important way to solve a large number of data calculationand data comparison, the division of calculation tasks reflected to the problem ofcheck calculation of the whole network is mainly the problem of network partitioning.In order to speed up the computing speed of the online check as much as possible, theresearch of the online checking optimal partitioning, parallel computation andoptimization algorithms is essential.In order to improve the on-line verification calculation speed of protectionsettings and solve the defects of traditional partition method, which is difficult tomeasure the reasonable of partition results and unable to determine the optimalnumber of partitions. An optimal partitioning strategy of power grid based on GNsplitting algorithm is presented in this paper. The initial partition of power grid isachieved through effectively utilizing the maximum edge betweenness and theoptimal number of partitions is determined by calculating and comparing theweighted modularity. Then through defining a quantitative metrics of checkingcalculation time and regarding as the optimal objective, migrate the boundary nodesand achieve the optimal partition.Taking into account the traditional centralized computing is encountered thebottleneck of hardware computing power, a protection setting online checking hybridparallel algorithm based on P2P is proposed. Peer-to-peer communications using P2Pnetwork technology to achieve inter-regional information fast interactive. The designof MPI+OpenMP hybrid parallel programming models and algorithms is emphaticallyintroduced. Online checking two levels parallel of process-level and thread-level isachieved through the parallel analysis of online checking.Taking into account the change of the real-time operation mode bewteen thistime and the previous time is not too much and the scope of failure influence islimited, the decision algorithm of disturbance domain based on the theory of windowidentification and partial correction algorithm of overhaul operations are proposed.From the perspective of optimization algorithms to improve the computing speed.The online checking application of protection setting based on the D5000platform establishes a layer of data cache internally. The data need to be used areplaced in the cache and interacted with the data platform of the smart grid schedulingtechnology support system through the cache. The business applications and database operations are isolated and the performance of the system and the checking efficiencyare improved. The fast matching function of the plant and equipment data is designed.The data are analyticed by certain rules and interacted better bewteen the checkingapplication and the D5000platform. The data acquisition is quickly achieved.
